Phillip S. Bessler

Phillip S. Bessler contributes over 30 years of industry experience from the Greater Cleveland area and Massachusetts. As vice president and general manager for Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley, Bessler was responsible for new business ventures and the start-up of new business segments. He went on to serve as president of Spang Power Electronics and further founded Bessler Consulting Group LLC where he helped companies grow revenue and streamline operations.

Currently as an Associate Professor at Baldwin-Wallace College, Mr. Bessler teaches and develops programs in the subject of entrepreneurship and new small business development. This work led him to establish The Business Clinic which has helped hundreds of for profit and not for profit organizations start, develop, and grow. Currently, Bessler is the Sam Walton Fellow for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
In addition, Mr. Bessler is a board member of the Anti-Defamation League, a founding director for both the Entrepreneurship Educational Consortium and Minds Matter of Cleveland, and served for 16 years as trustee and board chair of Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. He also serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Berea City School District and is a Junior Achievement volunteer.
