Segmint Expands Leadership Team
Segmint announced today that they have added two key members to their leadership team.

Akron, Ohio – Executives at Segmint Inc., a Northeast Ohio technology company, which facilitates online delivery of pertinent and compelling offers to customers of financial institutions through anonymous identification of customer spending patterns and Key Lifestyle Indicatorssm (KLIs), announced today that they have added two key members to their leadership team. David Hadley was named chief technology officer and John Relyea was named vice president of banking and strategic partnerships.
Mr. Hadley will be responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of customer/client information at Segmint. Most recently, Hadley served as president of The David Hadley Corporation based in Cleveland, Ohio. In this position, Hadley provided risk management solutions to the financial services and insurance industry. From 2000 to 2006, Hadley served as a co-founder and chief technology officer of DeepGreen Bank – an Internet-only Federal Savings Bank. During Hadley’s tenure, DeepGreen was featured in BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal and on CNN. In 2004, DeepGreen received the Inman Innovator Award.
Prior to DeepGreen, Hadley was a co-founder of Lakefront Consulting in Chicago and a senior manager of Andersen Consulting, also in Chicago. Hadley received a bachelor’s degree in Image Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y., and a master’s degree in Computer Science at Illinois State University. He maintains active CGEIT and CISA certifications.
Mr. Relyea will be responsible for the development and enhancement of all banking client relationships, as well as banking industry-related partnerships for SEGMINT. A 20-year veteran of the banking industry, he most recently was senior vice president and national direct business manager for Recreation Lending at KeyCorp in Cleveland. Relyea, who held various positions at KeyCorp between 1994 and 2008, began his new position at Segmint in April. Prior roles at Key included senior vice president and client experience-marketing manager for the retail division of Key, senior vice president and chief information officer for Key Auto Finance, and vice president and director of eBusiness for Key Recreation Lending, among other roles at KeyCorp. Prior to KeyCorp, Relyea created and managed the Retail Quality Assistance department and held several branch management positions at Star Bank (now U.S. Bank) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Relyea also worked previously with Dun & Bradstreet. Relyea received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and his MBA, with concentrations in marketing and international business, from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
